Help us raise money by supporting one of the activities below. Fundraisers are ongoing and we invite you to be a part of improving recreational areas for our community's children.
Purchase a park bench in the name of your business or organization, to commemorate the memory or honor of a loved one, or to help beautify our community parks. $599 per bench includes the bench, placard and installation.
Purchase a tree in the name of your business or organization, to commemorate the memory or honor of a loved one, or to help beautify our parks. $299 per tree includes the tree, planting, and plaque.
The Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation Foundation has created an Urban Reforestation Fund as an opportunity for citizens to contribute money to address the general loss of trees in our community. Donations will be used to replace trees that have been lost throughout the City due to disease, storms or development. In early spring of each year, the VBP&R Foundation will provide 100% of the funds collected throughout the year to the Parks and Landscape Services Division for site selection, specimen recommendation, purchase and installation of the new trees.
Each Fall, we hold a SOLD-OUT golf tournament at Red Wing Golf Course. Sponsors include: Broad Bay Country Club, Cahoon Plantation, Chick-Fil-A, Chrysler Museum of Art, Cinema Café, Creative Gifts Galore, Cypress Point Country Club, Funny Bone Comedy Club, Honey Bee Golf Course, Hot House Yoga, Integrity Transportation, Jungle Golf, Laser Quest, Mariners' Museum, Mystery Dinner Playhouse, Owl's Creek Golf Course, VB Parks and Recreation, Red Wing Lake Golf Course, Signature at West Neck, Timbuktu Restaurant, VA Air & Space Center, Virginia Stage Company, Wild River Outfitters, Your Personal Trainer.
